Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | default: "Friend" }},
We had a great response to our spring giveaway, and we're glad to announce the winner. One hundred and nineteen people booked a free estimate during the entry window. The random draw has been completed, and we wanted to share who won — and how it worked.
And the winner is…
Terri — Eugene, OR
Terri booked a free estimate during the entry window and was selected at random from 119 entries. She wins $500 in free tree care — applied to any Sperry service she chooses.
Congratulations, Terri. We look forward to taking great care of your trees.

Terri found us, had a question about her trees, and did what the giveaway asked: she booked a free estimate online. That single step entered her to win. No form, no code, nothing else. She gets $500 applied toward any work she wants done, and we get to work on her trees. That's the deal — and it's a good one.

This Is a Club Member Benefit
Giveaways like this one are part of the Sperry Tree Care Club. Terri was eligible because she was engaged with us — she had a scheduled estimate on the books. Club members are the first to know when something like this is available, and they're the ones we draw from.

If you're not already a club member, here's what you get when you join:

8 Reasons to Join the Tree Care Club
1
Member pricing on all services. Club members pay less than walk-in rates. Simple.
2
Seasonal check-ins from ISA-certified arborists. We reach out when there's something worth knowing about your trees — before a problem develops, not after.
3
Annual member giveaways — like Terri's $500 win. These are drawn exclusively from the club pool. Non-members aren't eligible.
4
Member-exclusive seasonal offers. Debris haul-away savings, off-peak scheduling deals, and seasonal add-ons that we don't advertise publicly.
5
Monthly tree care education tailored to the Willamette Valley. What your specific species need, when to act, and what to leave alone — written by our certified arborists.
6
Referral program with real value. Refer a neighbor who books an estimate and both of you are entered into the next member giveaway. No forms, no codes — we track it automatically.
7
Free property walk with any booked service. Our arborists do a full walkthrough of your property when they're on-site — not just the tree you called about.
8
Early access to our spring booking calendar. Club members get notified before we open scheduling to the public. In a busy spring like this one, that matters.
Membership is free. You just need to be on our list and schedule a free estimate to activate your benefits.
The club is free to join — there's no form, no fee, and no obligation. You activate your membership the same way Terri did: book a free estimate online. That's it. Your arborist walks the property with you, you get honest answers, and you're in the club.

A Quick Note on Oaks in May
Oregon White Oak (Garry Oak)
May is one of the last good months to prune oaks before summer risk increases. ISA guidance and Oregon Department of Forestry research both point to June through September as an elevated period for fungal infection through fresh pruning wounds. If you have an oak with limbs that need attention, this month is the window. After June, we don't typically prune oaks unless it's a safety issue.
